Holston Habitat for Humanity announces that Trish Patterson has been named the new Executive Director beginning May 1, 2018. Patterson succeeds Art Pearce, who is retiring from the position.
Patterson assumes this position after serving as Holston Habitat’s Community Outreach Director since April 2015. Prior to joining Holston Habitat, Patterson served in non-profit leadership for 11 years as the Executive Director of Hands On! Regional Museum and then as the Development Director with Holston Conference Camping Ministry.
“Trish’s track record of successful non-profit leadership combined with her experience in this community are great assets for Holston Habitat,” said John Boaz, Board Chair for the organization. “We believe Trish is an excellent leader for our organization and our community, and will continue promoting Habitat for Humanity’s values of building strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable housing.”
“The Board of Directors recognizes that we have been fortunate to have had the leadership of Art Pearce for the last 4 years,” said Connie Whitaker, Board Member. “And we are equally fortunate to have a local leader succeed him as we continue building the impact of Holston Habitat.”
